For McDonald’s Kuching International Airport, Malaysia, AIRO delivered a dynamic furniture and fit-out solution designed for a fast-moving airport environment. The project combines functional seating, warm wood finishes, playful colour accents, and flexible table configurations to create a space that feels efficient, welcoming, and instantly recognizable. From compact dining zones to long communal tables and integrated booth seating, every area is designed to support different customer needs — from quick stops to longer waiting moments before a flight. The use of yellow, mint, soft wood tones, and graphic wall elements brings freshness and energy to the restaurant while maintaining the operational clarity required by a high-traffic F&B space. Durable materials, easy circulation, and a variety of seating typologies help optimize comfort, capacity, and everyday performance. Through this project, Airo demonstrates its ability to transform airport dining spaces into practical, engaging, and brand-aligned environments that enhance the passenger experience.
